Sakhi Hasan Gymkhana batted first against CMRJ CC and struggled to get going at any stage of the innings. An in-form Syed Zia Shah posed a formidable threat against the opposition, picking up 4 wickets to rip through the line up. Atiq, Abdul Haseeb and Salman tried to provide some stability to their side but were unable to build a partnership. Ahmed Qureshi joined in the fun, taking 2 wickets as Sakhi Hasan were limited to 147 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, CMRJ were off to a very dominant start in the chase before a surprise twist changed things around for their side! After the top order Owais (14), Ahmed Qureshi (37), Raees (25) and Syed Zia Shah (30), some handy work by Mujeeb resulting in 2 quick run outs sparked a complete collapse. The duo of Abdul Haseeb and Mujeeb were unstoppable taking a combined 6 wickets to bowl out the opposition for 126 runs in 17.5 overs. CMRJ batsmen were completely helpless.
