HBL Asset Management came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Abdul Rehman Sr scored 12 off 15 where as Asim Khan scored 21 off 12. Ehtisham Junaidi came in & he scored 18 off 19. The bowlers then managed to pickup a wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Nauman Ur Rehman stood rock solid from the other end while wickets kept on tumbling from the other end. Nauman Ur Rehman scored at a fast pace scoring boundaries at ease. He played a sublime knock of 82 runs off 60 deliveries. Nasar Shibli lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Sheikh Matloob Hussain who picked up a couple of wickets. HBL Asset Management posted a total of 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
CDC came in to chase this target & were off to a disastrous start loosing half of their side inside the powerplay. The batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in the. Batsmen had no answer to such lethal bowling. Farhan Afridi was the only notable batsman as he scored 25 runs off 20 deliveries. Zohaib Bhatti was absolutely unplayable with the ball in hand as he tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Asim Khan who picked up 3 wickets. CDC were bowled out for 74 runs in 12.3 overs.
