What a match by Benitoz Panthers and Aimmz Trading at the 22nd Challengers Cup!
Benitoz Panthers batted first with their batsmen chipping away at the scoreboard but unable to really get going at any stage. Daniyal Liaquat knocked 31 off 24 while Hamza Qadir and Mohib Ahsan contributed 23 and 31 runs respectively. Aimmz bowlers did well to keep the opposition contained with Hammad Tariq and Fareed Shah Arbab leading the charge with 2 wickets each. Benitoz Panthers ended at 144 for 6 in 20 overs.
In response, Aimmz Trading lost their top order cheaply before Haider Abbas Zaidi stepped in to save his side. He knocked an impressive 53 off 45 under pressure with Haris Shams chipping in with 22 runs. The team however continued to lose wickets as Umer Khan turned up to pick up 4 crucial wickets while Hamza Ali Khan picked up a couple. Eventually a run out and Mohib and Daniyal's wicket each had the opposition at 140 for 9 in 20 overs. Aimmz Trading fell short by a painful 4 runs.
