Hill Park Blues batted first & were off to a flying start as their openers had a brilliant partnership of 100+ runs. Shah Hussain was dismissed after scoring 45. The bowlers then made a bit of a comeback picking up 2 wickets in quick succession. Fouz Ul Hassan from the other end was hitting the ball cleanly & hitting the ball towards all parts of the ground. There was carnage in Hill Park courtesy some brilliant power hitting from Fouz Ul Hassan. He played an absolute batting masterclass scoring 95 runs offf just 64 balls. Asif Feroze, Sharjeel Ahmed & Farooq Zaki managed to pickup a wicket each. Hill Park Blues posted a total of 167 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.
Hill Park Heroes came in to chase this daunting total & were off to a shaky start. They lost a wicket in the powerplay but their batsmen kept the run rate in check. Batsmen came in & got their starts but were unable to spend a huge amount of time on the crease. Bowlers were able to pickup wickets at regular intervals but couldn’t control the scoring rate. Huzaifa Muneer played a match winning innings of 45 runs. Farooq Zaki came in & finished the match with a fiery innings of 22 runs offf just 7 deliveries taking his team over the line. Each bowler used managed to pickup a wicket but was unable to restrict the batting side from chasing down the target.
