Hill Park CC batted first against Media Shop CC at the 20th Challengers Cup eliminator in a match that was a complete one sided affair. Hill Park's top order did well to put runs on the board with Muzammil Mehboob's 34 and Umer Saud's 49 in particular standing out for their side. Media's bowler continued to strike, picking up wickets in regular intervals to stop the flow of runs. The team lost 4 quick wickets lower down the order as Hamza Kiddi was sensational in his spell picking up 4 wickets while Khurram, Bahrain and Hamza picked up 2 wickets each. Hill Park CC ended at 180 in 20 overs.
In response, Media Shop CC had the most dramatic collapse! With the exception of Ayaz Baber's 32 runs, the rest of the team were dismissed in single digits. Asif Feroze was in fine form, taking 4 wickets with Yasir Manzoor keeping things going with his 3 wickets and Abdullah Anwar picked up a couple as Media Shop were dismissed for 57 in 9.5 overs.
Hill Park CC won by 123 runs.
