Hush Puppies batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing their opener Danish Saleem for just 1 run. Farhan Iqbal then stepped in to lead the recovery, scoring an impressive 70 runs at a strike rate of 125. Khas bowlers were unable to make the breakthrough, struggling to pick up wickets or strike at key times. Cameos by Owais Gulzar (21) and Asad Arshad (34) helped propel the team to a competitive total of 143 in 20 overs.
Khas batsman struggled in their chase, losing opener Khurram Mazhar for duck early on in the innings. Rehan Tahir, Hassan Sohail and Khurram Asfaq contributed scores in their twenties but were unable to build a solid partnership and get the momentum going. Hush Puppies bowlers were aggressive on the attack, picking up wickets regularly and limiting the flow of runs. Usman Tahir and Saqib Nisar lead the attack, picking up 2 wickets each to damage the opposition. Khas were eventually limited to 129 in 20 overs.
