Burhani CC batted first against Hyderi Royals and could not have had a worst day out with the bat. After losing their openers cheaply, things did not get any better as the team were unable to keep their wickets intact or score freely. With the exception of Murtaza Ali who contributed a handy knock of 21, none of the other players could keep it together. Hyderi's bowlers were absolutely outstanding with Hatim Khuzaima picking up 3 wickets in his spell. Murtaza Rao and Hatim Ali also struck with 2 wickets each as Burhai CC were all out for just 123 in 18.4 overs.
In response, Hyderi Royals lost their opener Abbas for duck and one down Hussain for just 3 runs but it was all smooth sailing after that. Hussain Rawat smashed a winning knock of 64 not out off just 44 balls which included 10 boundaries. He was supported on the other end by M Said Uddin whose 42 helped Hyderi Royals over the line in just 14.2 overs. Burhani bowlers were ineffective against the opposition and couldn't break the partnership.
Hyderi Royals won by 8 wickets.
