IAP batted first with a solid display from their top order batsmen. Openers Farrukh and Shahid got the team off to a flying start, scoring 37 and 40 runs respectively. They were further supported by Sameer Butt whose knock of 49 runs propelled IAP to a competitive total. The rest of the team struggled against an impressive bowling attack and eventually came undone. Ali Siddiqui lead the attack with 4 key wickets and was assisted by Imran Chughtai who did further damage with the ball, taking 2 wickets. IAP posted a total of 195 runs in 20 overs.
Adamjee Insurance fumbled in their chase, losing wickets regularly, unable to gain stability throughout the innings. Nasir Khan fought hard for his side, scoring 46 runs but received little support from the other end. Kashif Rajput did a remarkable job, picking up 4 wickets to decimate the batting side. Ali Ahmed also chipped in with 2 wickets, stealing any last hope the Adamjee batsmen may have had. Adamjee Insurance were bowled out for 141 in 16.1 overs.
IAP won by 54 runs.
