ICT Vs Zamzam Sports

ICT batted first and were off to a reasonable start. Both openers, Talha Ahmedani and Adeel Khan were looking in bright form and were going well before they were dismissed for 10 and 17 respectively. Taqi Azad then came in and propelled the score forward as he scored 24 of 29 balls but he was also picked up by Rafiq Khatak, who managed to pick up top 3 wickets for 20 runs. Almost everyone from ICT got starts but they could not capitalize on it but the innings was ended on a high by Rafay who scored 28 of just 15 balls with 3 mighty sixes. On the other hand, other than Rafiq Khatak, Kamran and Aamir picked up 2 wickets each as well. In the end, ICT managed to score 144 in their 20 overs.
The target was a modest one and it was chase able but Zamzam Sports made a mockery of it. They could not challenge the opposition and most of their batsmen were sent back to the pavilion with single digit scores. Only Kamran and Rafiq Khatak resisted a bit as they scored 45 and 36 respectively but other than them no one was able to score much. The bowling was great from ICT, Bilal, Shahzaib and Hasnain picked up 2 wickets each and they helped in restricting Zamzam Sports to just 120.
ICT won by 24 runs.
