Clinical victory for IDL Marketing against Orient Star as the former completely dominated with bat and ball.
Batting first, Orient Star were never really in the game with the line up losing their wickets to quickly to effectively contribute to the score. IDL bowlers were in fine form, picking wickets consistently, putting pressure to restrict Orient Star to a low 119 for 7 in 20 overs. It was a combined effort by the unit with Usman Butt being the leading wicket taker with 2 scalps. Malik Bashir and Taha Khan were the only players to provide cameos of 26 runs each.
In response, it was an easy chase for IDL with their top order securing the target in just 11.1 overs. Ahtram Ul Haq and Sheraz Ahmed kicked things off with 37 and 23 while Yasir Muneer stole the show with a half century knock of 57 off 24. Orient Star bowlers were helpless to the onslaught.
IDL Marketing won by 9 wickets.
