UBL Insurers came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Hamza Ali came in & scored 29 runs off 22 deliveries. Areeb Salman scored run a ball 16. Syed Sharjeel Ahmed scored 32 runs off 25 deliveries. The bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals towards the back end of the innings not allowing the batsmen to end on a high. Hasnain Haider lead the bowling attack picking up 2 wickets. UBL Insurers posted a total of 150 runs for the the loss of 5 wickets.
IGI Life Vitality came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Their openers Umer Ishtiaq & Muhammad Hamza completely ran away with the game. The duo put up a partnership of 50+ runs hitting on every bowler that was brought into the match attack. Umer Ishtiaq played the role of the aggressor as he played a sublime knock of 63 runs off just 33 deliveries. Muhammad Hamza played second fiddle to him scoring 21 runs off 27 deliveries. The bowlers then managed to pickup 3 wickets bringing their team back into the match. The momentum was then stopped by Salman Sethi & Muhammad Aamir who put up a match winning partnership. Salman Sethi scored 21 off 16 where as Muhammad Aamir played a cameo of 20 runs off just 8 deliveries taking his team over the line. Yahya managed to pickup a couple of wickets but it was too little too late.
