Imran Idrees’s 5-for leads MF Roomi Strikers to victory

MF Roomi Strikers came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Muzammil Mehboob & Owais Rehmani put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team an accelerating start. The duo timed the ball nicely as there was clean power hitting on display from both the ends. Both the batsmen took the attack towards the bowlers scoring boundaries at ease. Muzammil Mehboob played a fiery innings of 51 runs off 38 deliveries. Ali Ammar came in & he played with the same momentum. He blasted away the bowlers hitting out every bowler that was brought into the attack. He picked apart the bowling lineup as he played a cameo of 38 runs off just 15 deliveries. Owais Rehmani played a sublime knock of 56 runs off 40 deliveries. Adeel Majeed was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 2 wickets. MF Roomi Strikers posted a total of 176 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Roomi Royals came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Bilal Aslam scored 15 off 11. Habib Shoaib & Aamir Motiwala put up some sort of a partnership before Aamir Motiwala was dismissed after scoring run a ball 29 runs. Habib Shoaib followed him soon as he played a fiery innings of 35 runs off 25 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers started to dominate. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Imran Idrees was absolutely unplayable with the ball. He ripped through the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Sameer Javed who picked up 3 wickets. Roomi Royals were bowled out for 119 runs in 16.5 overs.
