Intellexal Solutions went against NBPians on 4th December at Anu Bhai Park.
Batting first, NBPians posted a total of 179 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Farrukh Shahid and Sohail Zaman, the opener batters, gave a steady start to the team, scoring 36 amd 21 runs respectively. Ahmed Ali stood out with his innings of 42 off 27. Aamir Abbas, Imran Shah and Farhan Zaman excelled from the bowling attack, as they bagged 2 wickets each.
The chase went successfully for Intellexal Solutions, as their openers collectively scored 49 runs. Aamir Abbas, the one-down batter, was the highest scorer with 32 runs at a strike rate of 128. Though Shahid Mushtaq bagged 3 wickets, however, he was unable to halt the batters’ momentum. Sameer Khan’s cameo of 37 runs, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes was crucial in the chase.
As a result, Intellexal Solutions won the match in 19.1 overs with 5 wickets to spare.
