Jojis Sports batted first against Pak XI in an encounter which proved to be one-sided. Opener Ali Raza provided a fabulous start to Jojis as he smashed 42 runs off 22 deliveries. He was assisted by his partner Nawaz who added 20 runs to the scoreboard. M Asif from the middle order further steered his side towards a comfortable total scoring 35 off 19. The bowlers of Pak XI were not sure about their line and length and bowled 24 wide deliveries in total. This is where things started to go wrong for them. The batting side had set a fancy score of 183 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Azhar from Pak XI was outstanding with the ball and picked up 4 wickets. Fasi also secured 2 wickets.
Pak XI in reply failed to play with the required pace. They were too slow in scoring runs as compared to the required run rate. The bowlers of Jojis brilliantly controlled the batting side and contained them from making much runs. Their plan was simple and they just had to stop Pak batsmen from scoring runs which they successfully implemented. Waqar, Ejaz and Asif's 2 wickets each also played a vital role in limiting the opposition to 123 runs for the loss if 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Opener Danish from Pak XI was the highest run getter scoring 34 runs.
Jojis Sports won by 70 runs.
