Jubilee Life Insurance won in dominating fashion against National Foods last week, beating them by six wickets at the Eastern Star Ground.
National Foods batted first and had an impressive showing with opener Irfan Khan making 43 from 34, Ali Nasir making 29 from 29 and Shahzad making 39 from 25. They made 145 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. M. Hunain took three wickets while Zohaib Rizwan, Umer Hussain, Muhammad Waqas Khan and Farhan Zaib all took one wicket each.
Jubilee chased the target in 18.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Zohaib Rizwan made 32 from 36, Ibad Anis smashed 56 from 35 and remained not out and Jubilee also took advantage of 26 extra runs. Azhar Ali took two wickets while Shahzad took one.
