Salam Takaful Pakistan Limited came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. The bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths not allowed the batsmen to score easily. The bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The batting lineup completely collapsed as batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Subhan Ali was the top scorer with 25 runs off 14 deliveries. Zohaib Rizwan was absolutely unplayable as he tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. Akhter Abbas picked up 3 wickets as well. M. Farhan also managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Salam Takaful Pakistan Limited were bowled out for 92 runs in 16.2 overs.
Jubilee Life Insurance came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Muhammad Hafeez & Ibad Anis put up a partnership of 50+ runs blowing the bowlers out of proportion. The duo scored at a healthy rate as Muhammad Hafeez scored 35 runs off 47 deliveries & Ibad Anis scored 38 runs off 29 deliveries taking their team to a comfortable victory.
