K-Lions Vs Southend Tigers (Southend Premier League)
K-Lions proved their Supremacy by containing the Southend Tigers and in the end emerged as victors of the match.
K-Lions, batted first against the Southend Tigers in the first innings, with Bilal Chinioty and Usman Mazhar as their opening pair. Bilal scored 7 runs and Usman scored 22 runs and got the scoreboard running for his side. Their were some early take downs by the Southend Tigers because of their strong bowling attack. Jaffer Qureshi and Pir Zulfiqar Ali bowled a beautiful spell of 3 overs each and picked up 3 wickets each for themselves. Later on in the match Yasir Tanvir scored 20 runs. Haseeb Nadeem and Rehan Tahir carried the last effective partnership of the innings and scored a total of 30 runs. K-Lions scored a total of 131 runs in 14 overs.
Southend Tigers were off to a flying start with their opening pair in the second innings, when Maaz Ismail and Asif Siddiqui got the ball rolling and played a beautiful partnership of 27 runs. Southend Tigers looked to be in good form with their batting order. Rehman Malik and Jaffer Qureshi played yet another effective partnership and scored a total of 26 runs. Maaz Naveed was the last batsman to score 13 runs for his side. Southend Tigers were playing good cricket and it seemed as if they were going to snatch the victory from the opposition, but in the last they ran out of overs and scored a total of 91 runs. K-Lions won by 40 runs.
