K Town CC batted first against Ten Pearls in what turned out to be a high scoring thriller. Openers Zahid Mianoor and Azam Abbas came out with a bang scoring 59 and 63 runs respectively to set a mammoth total for their side. The team lost a few quick wickets after that but nothing could stop the onslaught as Zulqarnain's 49 off just 14 balls at an outstanding strike rate over 350 boosted K Town to a huge of 212. Ten Pearls bowlers were out of sorts.
In response, Ten Pearls lost opener Muhammad Furqan early on in the innings before his partner Ajdal Aziz played one of the best innings of his career. The centurion smashed 104 off 54 with 17 boundaries and 6 sixes. Zohaib Baig continued the onslaught with a blistering 60 and Ten Pearls looked on course to chase down the massive target but Waqas Mazhar's 3 wicket spell put a dent on their plans! Heart break for Ten Pearls as they ended at 207.
K Town won by 5 runs.
