What a knock by Classic Garments batsman Kamil Mehmood! Classic went head to head against Blue Sharks with their star opener smashing it out of the park. His sensational knock of 115 came off just 67 balls and including 18 boundaries. Blue Sharks bowlers were helpless against the onslaught and picked wickets on the other end. Despite a flurry of quick wickets, Raheel Asif and Umair Rizvi managed to contribute cameos of 26 and 22 runs respectively as Classic Garments ended at 185 for 5 in 20 overs. Jamal Iqbal and Asim Pasha picked up 2 wickets each.
In response, Blue Sharks were off to a disastrous start after losing opener Najeeb for duck. The team struggled throughout the innings, unable to keep their wickets intact to build a formidable partnership. Syed Ibrahim was the only notable player to put up a fight with an impressive knock of 67 runs but Classic bowlers kept things tight. Naimat Khan Afridi picked up 3 wickets with Osama Ayub taking a couple as Blue Sharks were restricted to 148 for 8 in 20 overs.
