Karachi Fighters and NZ Sports went against each other on 14th September at the the Young Fighters Ground.
Ali Iqbal and Muhammad Zulfiqar opened the innings for NZ Sports. Ali smashed 48 runs of 35. However Zulfiqar and Muhammad Shahid, the one-down batter, got out on a duck. The batters fell to the tactics of the bowlers, as Zeeshan Ahmed, Kamran Hasan Khan and Jahanzaib Khan bagged 2 wickets each. The batters displayed a sloppy effort and were restricted to a score of 142 runs.
The dynamic duo of Abdul Rehman and Irteza Khan opened the innings. Abdul Rehman scored 64 runs and was the highest scorer of the match. While Irteza scored 43 runs. Though the bowlers were unable to defend the score, however, Ali Iqbal stunned with his performance and was the only bowler to bag 3 wickets.
As a result, the stunning performance of Fighters’ batters led them to a win by 7 wickets.
