KARACHI GLADIATORS vs KALSOFT KNIGHTS

Karachi Gladiators batted first in this thrilling encounter against Kalsoft Knights in the Al-Wakeel Cricket League. Karachi Gladiators were off to a shaky start as they face two back to back ducks. But Sami Afridi and Malik Umair held the innings together. Sami scored 36 runs while Malik Umair got 34 runs to his name. Faisal Haroon Badshah top scored with 37 runs as he helped his team to post a competitive total. Raheel managed to get 3 wickets while Farruk Azam bagged 2. Izat Shah scored valuable 27 runs in the concluding phases of the innings which enabled Karachi Gladiators to score 177 runs for the loss of 8 wickets after 20 overs.
Kalsoft Knights started their chase in a decent manner as Saad Maqsood showed signs of great form. He was briefly supported by Alishan Aslam who scored 14 runs while the former bagged 40 runs. But as the opening partnership broke, thing became quite problematic for Kalsoft Knights as one after another batsmen kept on giving away their wickets. Rabish Ahmed, Izat Shah, Hunain Usman and Ahad Farooqi grabbed 2 wickets apiece. It was the last over when Kalsoft Knights were put out of their misery as they were all out for 129 runs. The match was won by Karachi Gladiators by 48 runs.
