Cocoon Home batted first and were off to a solid start with opener Bilal scoring an unbeaten 75 runs. The rest of the team contributed little with the bat with only Yasir stepping up and scoring a cameo of 32 runs for his side. Waqar Zubair fought hard for his team, striking at key times and picking up 3 wickets. Cocoon Home posted a total of 157 in 20 overs.
Karachi Panthers were off to a troubled start in the chase, losing wickets very regularly unable to gain stability at one point. Humayun Alamgir and Naimat Ullah ripped through the opposition, taking 5 wickets between the two. The Panthers were then saved by Madni who scored a match-winning knock of 87 runs to get his team over the line and singlehandedly win the game for his side.
