Karachi Kaikras Vs Karachi Titans
Karachi Kaikras batted first against the Karachi Titans in the first innings of the match. A match that turned out be an exciting one. Ali Gul and Khizar were the opening batsmen from their side and both of them gave a poor performance that eventually led to a poor start. Wali khan was the man with the ball to dismiss the first three batsmen and ensured that the opposition did not pick rhythm in order to set a huge target. Talha Abbas scored 20 runs off 20 balls and on the other hand Asim was doing a brilliant job and he played an amazing inning of 43 runs and stayed not out till the innings ended. Rest of the batting order failed tremendously on getting their hands on decent runs. At the end of 20 overs, Karachi Kaikras scored a total of 137 runs after losing 9 wickets.
Now came in the Karachi Titans for their turn to have a shot at the victory. Mohsin Lakho and Rehan Akhtar were the opening pair for their side and they gave a marvelous start in the second innings. Moshin Lakho scored 51 runs but unfortunately suffered an injury, so he had to sit this one down. Rehan Akhtar on the other hand scored 23 runs just off 12 balls and lost his wicket to Imad. Umair Khan and Affan Zuberi covered rest of the chase and brought their team one step closer to the win. They carried a 35 runs partnership and Muhammad Adnan sealed the victory by scoring 4 runs in the end. Karachi Titans chased the target in 15 overs.
