Super Daddy Cricket Club batted first against KG Ball Busters at the Bold presents 1st KK Amateur League Semi Final.
The team were off to a flying start with opener Adeel Mansha and his partner Rehan Shaikh scoring runs at the top. Adeel contributed a valuable 41 off 29 while Rehan knocked 37. Abid Malik furthered their cause with an impressive 42 and remained not out to boost Super Daddies to 155 for 6 in 20 overs. Despite the roaring start, a few quick wickets hampered the run rate with KG bowlers doing well to pull the opposition back. Tayyab Yousuf and Jaffer Hussain were the key bowlers with 2 wickets each.
In response, KG Ball Busters lost opener Azhar Khan for just 4 runs but remained unaffected. Jaffer Hussain's 36, Jam Zain's 33 and a sensational 63 off 39 by Ghazanfar Ritchie had KG Ball Busters race to the finish line in 18.3 overs. Super Daddies bowlers could do little to restrict the opposition. Khansha took 2 wickets.
KG Ball Busters won by 5 wickets and are through to the final.
