Khalil Ahmed too hot to handle for KPSIAJ FSC

Numbers came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a high rate. Rasheed Ahmed & Khalil Ahmed put up a partnership of 50+ runs making full use of the powerplay. The duo played explosive cricket as there was clean striking on display from both the ends. Rasheed Ahmed departed after playing a cameo of 30 runs off just 12 deliveries. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers started picking up wickets at regular intervals but this completely unfazed Khalil Ahmed as he continued to hit the ball towards all parts of the ground. The bowlers throwed everything in their arsenal but he was unstoppable as he kept on muscling the ball towards the boundary. Khalil Ahmed completely ran away with the game as he played a master blaster of an innings scoring 132 runs off just 75 deliveries single handedly taking his team to a huge total. Talib Hussain managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Numbers posted a mammoth total of 214 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

KPSIAJ FSC came in to chase this target & were off to a flyer. Despite loosing 2 wickets they were scoring at a high rate. Ali Zain & Talib Hussain put up a decent partnership at the top making full use of the powerplay. Talib Hussain departed after scoring 23 runs off 19 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made their way back into the game. The bowlers started to pick up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Ali Zain was the lone warrior as he played a fighting innings of 55 runs off 34 deliveries but he ran out of partners as the bowlers dominated through out the innings. Darain Faraz lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Rasheed Ahmed, Aamir Abbas & Waqar Ahmed who picked up a couple of wickets each. KPSIAJ FSC were bowled out for 141 runs in 16.2 overs.
