Khas continued their winning streak against OGS at the Legends Cup. Batting first, the team were unable to keep their wickets intact with the OGS bowlers on fire. Faraz Ahmed in particular was outstanding with the ball taking 3 wickets in his spell. Sheryar Malik also picked up a couple as Khas were dismissed for 165 runs. Their openers Hassan Sohail and Ahmed Hussain were the most notable contributors for their side with knocks of 23 and 37 respectively. The rest of the batsmen knocked cameos but nobody was able to capitalize on some decent starts.
In response, OGS were completely outdone by the Khas bowlers. 4 of their top order batsmen were dismissed in single digits including 2 consecutive ducks. The chasing side were reeling and simply could not seem to catch their breath at any stage of the innings. Adnan Siddiqui was the only player who showed intent with a fighting knock of 54 runs with no support on the other end. Khas bowler Waseem Ali was ruthless against the opposition, taking 4 wickets and giving away just 10 runs in his spell. Haseeb Khurram also took 2 wickets as OGS were bowled out for 125 in 17.5 overs.
Khas won by 40 runs.
