Karachi Patriots batted first at the Legends Cup against Khas and struggled throughout the innings. After losing opener Adnan Salim and Usman Ghani cheaply, things did not get any easier for the batting side. Khas bowlers did well to keep the pressure on, picking up wickets when needed to stop the flow of runs. Ghazanfar Ritchie and Adeel Abbasi tried to halt a complete collapse, contributing valuable knocks of 31 and 32 runs respectively. Khas bowler Bilal Amin was phenomenal, takung 4 wickets in his spell. Hassan Javed also chipped in with a couple as Karachi Patriots were bowled out for 147 in 19.2 overs.
In response, Khas lost opener Ahmed Hussain cheaply for just 8 runs but recovered well after that. Bilal Chinioty carried his side with an outstanding match winning knock of 61 runs along with Yasir Tanveer whose 51 not out lead Khas to an easy victory in 17.5 overs. Patriots bowlers were unable to cause much damage and were decimated by a formidable chasing side.
Khas won by 8 wickets.
