Khas XI batted first against Viper XI at the CPL Semi Final with Adnan Sohail stealing the show!
Haseeb Ashfaq got his side off to a decent start with 43 off 25 and the top order seemed to be cruising along fine with Hassan Sohail and Yasir Tanveer also chipped in with 26 and 21 runs respectively. Adnan then blew the bowlers out of the park with a blistering 71 off 24 including 4 fours and 7 sixes to help Khas XI reach a mammoth 207 for 5 in 20 overs. Viper Xi bowlers were not able to contain him and despite Hammad Aftab's 3 wickets, their bowlers were smacked for plenty of runs.
In response, the 2nd innings was a completely one sided affair with Viper Xi's batsmen folding in the chase. Ghazanfar Bilal's 24 and a very valuable 41 off 21 by Zeeshan Ahmed were the only notable contributions for their side as Viper Xi were restricted to a low 99 for 9. Hassan Sohail took 3 wickets while Qamar Saleem and Hassan Nasir took 2 wickets each.
Khas XI won by a mammoth 108 runs.
