The ‘KheloKhavateen 2025’ tournament, presented by Bank Al Habib Limited, commenced on March 11, 2025, at the Kutchi Memon Ground. This event is a vibrant celebration of women’s cricket in Pakistan, offering a substantial prize of PKR 150,000 to the champions.
On Day 1 Athletic Club Red played Sindh Promoters in the opening match & Athletic Red dominated the proceedings. Sundus scored 26 off 11 taking her team to a challenging total of 59/3. Kainat managed to pickup 2 wickets. Sindh Promoters CC couldn’t do much as they managed to score just 18 runs in their allotted overs. Athletic Red Club won by 41 Runs.
In match 2 Khelo Rockets played Endorphins. Khelo Rockets posted a total of 32 runs with opener Minahil Ikram scoring 11 off 12. Endorphins easily chased down the total in 2.1 overs with Javeria scored 12 off 4 leading her team to a 8 wickets victory.
In match 3 BSL Women Strikers faced off Sindh Promoters Emergence. BSL Women Strikers posted a mammoth total of 98/1 in 5 overs. Their openers Samiya scored 43 off 16 & Laiba scored 47 off 13. Both openers complimented each other well hitting the ball towards all parts of the ground. In the chase Sindh Promoters Emergence managed to score 33 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. Isra Abbasi scored 12 off 14. BSL Women Strikers won by 65 runs
In the final match of the night Athletic Club Red played BSL Women Strikers. Athletic Red Club batted first & their openers Sana Urooj scored 25 off 8 & Sundus scored 29 off 10 taking their team to a dominant position & setting a total of 74/3. BSL Women Strikers came in to chase this target & managed to score 43 runs only in response. Athletic Club Red won by 31 runs
