Royal Group Falcons batted first against Kalsoft Knights at the Al Wakeel Cricket League in what turned out to be a complete one sided affair. Batting first, Falcons lost opener Taqi Azad for duck to a brilliant ball by Alishan Aslam. The team had a rough day out with the bat after that, losing wickets in regular intervals with some players contributing cameos in the middle. Saad Saleem and Jalal Owais were the most notable contributors for their side with 49 and 46 runs respectively while Hamza Tai also chipped in with 22. Kalsoft Knights bowlers Alishan Aslam and Usama Khan were brilliant with the ball with twin performances of 3 for 24 in their spells. Saad Arbi also took 2 wickets as Royal Group Falcons ended at 173 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Kalsoft Knights epically collapsed thanks to some unbelievable piece of bowling by Ahsan Arbab whose 5 wickets gave them no chance in the game. Shahbaz Arif and Ahmed Sharjeel were the most notable contributors for their side with 20 and 25 runs respectively. The rest of the team were dismissed in single digits with Sameer Ahmedani and Irfan Latif taking 2 wickets each. Kalsoft Knights were all out for just 92 in 15.5 overs.
