GULSHAN STRIKERS vs LEGENDS CC

Legends CC met with Gulshan Strikers in an exciting match of the 6th Campaigner Trophy. Batting first Legends CC were off to a shaky start as the top order failed to provide an ideal start. Things looked very problematic for Legends CC until Emad Ul Haq came to bat. He changed the game with his superb batting as he scored 59 runs off just 29 balls. Umer Ishtiaq and Zahid Safdar were the other major contributors for Legends CC with 14 and 16 runs respectively. Uzair and Umair bagged two wickets each while the rest of the bowling lot also performed well. Legends CC scored 140 runs for the loss of 9 wickets after 20 overs.
If you lose your opener for a golden duck you are in serious trouble, and this is how Gulshan Strikers started their innings. But soon after the loss of the first wicket, the damage was repaired by Bilal and Usama who scored 28 and 36 runs respectively. Before Gulshan Strikers could relax, the Legends CC bowling attack made an epic comeback. No other batsman was able to reach the double figures and could not keep up with the required run rate. Asad took 3 wickets while 2 wickets apiece were taken by Saboor and Mumtaz Khan as Gulshan Strikers were all out for 103 in the 16th over. Legends CC won the match by 37 runs.
