Karachi Fighters batted first & were off to a shaky start loosing one wicket early on. Zeeshan Bangash scored 28 runs whereas Aqeel Doger & Umer Riaz scored 19 runs respectively. The bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order completely collapsed. Nawaz Shahid came in towards the end & scored a crucial 29. M Waqas lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets & found good support from Aliyan Mehmood & Rehman Ghani who picked up a couple of wickets each. Karachi Fighters posted a total of 129 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Malir Gymkhana came in to chase this target & were off to a decent start with their openers M waqas scoring 22 runs & Daniyal Ahsan scoring 15 runs. The bowlers then picked up 2 wickets in quick succession but the counter attack was stopped by Huzaifa Muneer who scored 20 runs, Muhammad Waqas & Yasir Mushtaq who scored 24 runs respectively taking their team over the line. Aqeel Doger managed to pickup a couple of wickets but it was too little too late.
