Mandviwalla Group batted first and were off to a blazing start. Akhter Ahmed was in top form and there was no stopping him, he smashed the bowlers all around the park and from ball one he looked to attack them. He smashed 14 fours and 2 massive sixes during his top knock of 94 which came of just 52 balls. He got support from almost everyone. Burair also supported him who scored 14 of 15 he was the quite partner in the opening partnership. After the opening partnership was dismissed the middle order took charge of the game and continued where Akhter Ahmed had left, Ali and Muzammil batted aggressively and did not let the scoring rate to dry out. Ali scored 26 of 14 whereas Muzammil managed to score 30 of 18. In the end, Asad’s little cameo of 20 of 6 took Mandviwalla Group score to a big 212 in 18 overs.
A heroic performance was required from Synergy Group batsmen to get over the line but that was not the case. Synergy Group never really got going and they were never really in the chase as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals which put them into immense pressure. Muhammad Ali was the pick of the bowler who picked up 4 wickets for just 13 runs whereas Burair and Ahsan picked up 2 each. The batting was disappointing from Synergy and only Nasr Saeed could score 41 of 29 rest failed miserably to give Mandviwalla a big win by 88 runs.
