Hawks Fighters batted first against Markhors CC and were completely bamboozled by a brilliant display of bowling. Openers Shano and Danish knocked 28 and 16 respectively before the bowlers took over. 7 of the subsequent batsmen were dismissed in single digits including 3 ducks as Rohan Khalil made quick work of the opposition. His spell of 4 for 18 ripped through the batting line up, supported by Zohaib who also took a couple. Shahnawaz and Faisal tried to save their side with contributions of 17 and 27 runs respectively as Hawks Fighters ended at 122 in 19.2 overs.
In response, Markhors CC lost opener Farooq for just 5 runs but recovered well after that. With a low total to chase, Humayoon, Usama and Zohaib took over, knocking 40, 25 and 21 runs respectively to chase down the target in 17.2 overs. Hawks bowler Usama tried to fight back picking up 2 wickets but simply could not defend the team's low total.
Markhors CC won by 6 wickets.
