Bohra CC batted first against Shabab Whites at the all important final with their top order absolutely falling apart. The top 5 batters were dismissed cheaply Hussain Rawat, Hussain Mustafa and Abbas Mohammad tried to save their side with valuable cameos. Shabab bowlers were simply unplayable, ripping through the opposition, picking wickets regularly to dismiss them for just 133 in 19.3 overs. Mohammad Sitamu was the most impressive bowler from their side with 3 wickets while Shabbir and Taha took 2 wickets.

In response, Shabab Whites top order started off strong before Bohra CC bowlers did well to pick wickets and stem the opposition’s momentum. With a modest total to chase however, early contributions by Ali Asghar, Muntasir, Mustafa Qutubuddin were enough to put their side in a dominant position. A late blitz of 13 off 8 by Mustafa Africawala helped their side to victory in 19.4 overs. Abbas Mohammad did well in his spell, picking up 3 wickets for his side while the rest of the unit chipped in to try and defend the total but were about 15 runs too short on this pitch.
