Classic Garments Raptor and TN Suleman Strikers went against each other on 19th September at Young Fighter Ground.
Raptors started the first innings with openers Ibrahim Kasmani and Muhammad Saif. Ibrahim scored 34 off 26, hitting 4 boundaries. Saif, on the other hand, scored 38 runs at a strike rate of 152. However, he got run out by Habib Shoaib. The batters displayed a sloppy effort after the fall of the openers’ wickets. The bowlers were fierce, as Haseeb Farid, Abdul Ghani and Ammar Pasta bagged 2 wickets each. Hence, Raptors were restricted to a score of 130 runs.
Strikers started the second innings with the determination to chase the score. The openers, Haseeb Ur Rehman and Abdul Rehman Shakeel, made significant contributions. Haseeb scored 28 off 21, hitting 5 boundaries. In addition to this, Rehman smashed 42 runs and remained not out. Though Abdullah Iqbal bagged 2 wickets. However, the bowlers collectively were unable to build pressure and defend the total.
