Mavericks batted first against Secure Networks and dominated the opposition with bat and ball. Opener Tauseef Riaz turned up for his side with a sublime 67 off 43. The team however continued to lose wickets intervals but were able to contribute cameos to keep the scoreboard ticking. Younus Tai's 24 and a 36 run knock by Umar Riaz helped Mavericks post a competitive, defendable, 176 in 20 overs. Secure bowlers could not effectively contain the opposition, with some of their bowlers being put away for plenty.
In response, Secure Networks simply imploded with the chasing side being skittled out for 134 in 18.4 overs. With the exception of Kamran Wali's 33 and a desperate 29 by Bilal Munir, the rest of the side threw away their wickets. Mavericks bowlers were on fire, picking up wickets with Salman Asif and Moin Jahangir taking 3 wickets each and Rehman Ilyas taking 2 in his spell.
Mavericks won by 42 runs.
