Mavericks came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Ahmed Asif & Adeel Meo put up a solid partnership of 50+ runs scoring at a quick rate. Both the batsmen struck the ball nicely before Ahmed Asif departed after scoring 27 runs off 19 deliveries where as Adeel Meo played a fiery innings of 36 runs off 15 deliveries. Saad Faisal & Saad Asif put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a strong finish. Saad Faisal played the role of the aggressor as he timed the ball nicely. He struck the ball cleanly towards all parts of the ground. Saad Faisal departed after playing a fiery innings of 46 runs off 28 deliveries. Usman Ashraf came in & he scored 17 off 11. Saad Asif remained unbeaten as he scored 40 runs off 31 deliveries. Yasir Farooqui lead the bowling attack picking up 2 wickets. Mavericks posted a total of 186 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Vigo Boys came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Malik Karar Ali managed to score 20 off 13 where as Zeeshan Momian scored 10 off 19. Ali Khan came in & he scored 19 off 8. Once he was dismissed the bowlers asserted their dominance onto the game. The bowlers then kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Hammad Khan managed to score 29 off 26 but wickets kept on tumbling from the other end. Usman Ashraf was unplayable with the ball in hand as he ripped through the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Umer Khanani who managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. Vigo Boys were bowled out for 128 runs in 16.4 overs.
