The standout performance came from Abdul Rehman, who played an unbeaten innings of 67 runs off just 34 deliveries, providing a late surge to the total. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting lineup failed to make a significant contribution. Behzad Anwar was the most successful bowler for Mavericks Stars CC, picking up two wickets. TBH Gladiators managed to post a total of 138/6.
Chasing the target of 139 runs, Mavericks Stars CC got off to a flying start, thanks to an explosive innings from opener Sufiyan Shabir. He played a blistering knock, scoring 94 runs off just 33 balls, falling agonizingly short of a well-deserved century. Saqib Malik provided solid support with an unbeaten 38 runs off 21 deliveries. Ahmed contributed 8 runs off 9 balls to the chase. Khurram Zahid picked up two wickets for TBH Gladiators, but it wasn’t enough to halt the Mavericks’ charge.
