Rising Stars came in to bat first & were off to a flyer. Their openers ahmed altaf & Asif H Kidwai put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a fiery start. Ahmed altaf played a solid knock of 26 runs off 29 deliveries where as Asif H Kidwai scored 21 off 24. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers made their way back into the match. The bowlers then dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The batting lineup completely collapsed as Kaif Bilal lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Adeel Meo & Usman Ashraf who picked up a couple of wickets each. Rising Stars posted a total of 105 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Mavericks came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 4 wickets early on. The batting lineup was struggling as the bowlers were on top. Saad Faisal stood tall from one end keeping the score board ticking. He played a solid knock of 34 runs off 29 deliveries keeping his side in the run chase. Kaif Bilal came in & played a blinder of an innings scoring 32 runs off just 18 deliveries taking his team over the line. Muhammad Talha Rizwan was exceptional with the ball as he picked up 4 wickets but it wasn’t enough to seal the deal for his team.
