Maverick Stars Cricket Club batted first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. The story of their innings didn’t change much as the bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at regular intervals. Muhammad Sufiyan was the lone warrior with 67 runs but was unable to find support from the other end. Umar Ashraf lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Umer Khanani & Abdul Rehman M Rafiq who picked up a couple of wickets each. Maverick Stars Cricket Club were bowled out for 149 runs in 20 overs.
Mavericks came in to chase this total & were off to a similar start as Maverick Stars Cricket Club. They lost 3 wickets inside the powerplay with their team struggling. Bilal Asim & Usman Ashraf stepped up to the challange & steadied the ship for their team. Bilal Aslam was soon dismissed after scoring 37 runs & was soon followed by Usman Ashraf who scored 34 runs. Arsalan Amin then stood tall but couldn’t support from the other end as wickets kept tumbling from the other end. The bowlers were picking up wickets at regular intervals but were unable to stop the flow of runs. An innings of 38 runs from Arsalan Amin takes his team to victory. Saim Raees & Behzad Anwar picked up a couple of wickets each but were unable to get their team the victory.
