Maya Tigers went against American Doors on 16th November at RLCA.
Uzair Markatia and Aqeel Mamdani opened the innings for Maya Tigers. However, they were unable to contribute, as they lost their wickets on a duck and 6 runs respectively. The batters displayed poor intent, as the bowlers emerged. Anzar Pasta led the attack and took 4 wickets, while Shahid Jiwani bagged 2 wickets. As a result, Maya Tigers posted a total of only 83 runs at the loss of all wickets in 17 overs only.
Amrican Doors’ openers were unable to give them the start they needed. The bowlers dominated at the start, as Samad Gaba dismissed 2 batters. However, due to the low-score they were unable to build pressure. Ammar Pasta and Zakir Mama played innings of 26 and 37 runs each. Hence, driving the team closer to the score.
As a result, American Doors emerged winners in the 15th over only at the loss of of 5 wickets.
