Dehli Boyz and Medicam went against each other on 18th November at DHA Cricket Ground.
Batting first, Medicam posted a total of 171 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. Umer Chawla and Umer Lohya were phenomenal in the middle-overs, as they smashed 58 and 40 runs respectively. Chawla played his innings at a strike rate of 148.72, while Lohya struck at a rate of 133.33. Saqib Yahya was the leading wicket taker with 3 wickets in the bag.
Much to Dehli’s dismay they did not gain the start that was needed. Their openers were able to score 21 runs only, collectively. The middle-order failed, with Faisal Ahmed Pai and Humayun Nadeem being the highest scorers, scoring 19 runs only. The bowling attack was led by Abdullah Nawab, as he bagged 4 wickets. In addition to this, Danish Rehan and Uner Chawla took 2 wickets.
As a result, Medicam successfully defended their score and won the match by 46 runs.
