Medicam Strikers came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Mirza Taha & Ali Butt put up a partnership of 50+ runs. Mirza Taha played a fiery innings of 35 runs off 23 deliveries where as Ali Butt played a cameo of 46 runs off 23 deliveries. Sheeraz Khalil came in & he scored 21 off 11. Nadeem Akhtar came in & he scored with the same intent. He played a dismissive innings of 31 runs off 16 deliveries. The bowlers then managed to pickup 3 quick wickets. Adil Umar came in & scored 20 runs off 10 deliveries where as Jahanzaib Razzaq played a cameo of 21 runs off 8 deliveries. Syed Inam Agha lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. Medicam Strikers posted a mammoth total of 212 runs.
Askari CC came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Their openers Sami Shah & Raheel Abdul Majeed were in fine form & they made full use of their form. The duo put up a partnership of 100+ runs completely blowing away the bowlers. There was some clean power hitting on display from both the ends as every bowler was hit out of the attack. Sami Shah played a sublime knock of 71 runs off 37 deliveries where as Raheel Abdul Majeed played a fiery innings of 65 runs off 43 deliveries. Muhammad Atif came in & he scored 12 off 6. Rashid Khan scored 21 off 12 & Haris Ahmed contributed with his 15 off 8. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Jahanzaib Razzaq lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Faisal Shah who picked up a couple of wickets.
