Medicam won their second clash in the Dollar East Premier League against Royal CC on 10-11-2015 at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
Royal CC were put in to bat first and the expectations were high again from superstar Zakir Malik. However, he was put under immense pressure from the get go before finally being dismissed on 3 by Jam Safiullah. Ejaz Shah, Umar Imtiaz and Aqib Rizvi contributed with decent cameos but the stand out performer was Mir Afzal. He took the Royals on a late surge with his unbelievable 66 of just 23 balls including 8 boundaries and 2 huge sixes. The Royals capped off the innings at a decent 159 at the loss of 4 wickets.
Medicam completed the chase effortlessly courtesy a match winning 3rd wicket partnership between Arsalan Farzand and Shahzar Hassan who scored 57 and 44 respectively. Arif Khan then took Medicam home with his 21 earning them a 7 wicket victory to put them in an extremely strong position in the Dollar East Premier League. Arsalan Farzand was declared the man of the match for his match winning innings of 57 and fantastic work in the field.
