Faysal Bank came in to bat first & were off to a decent start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Tariq Murad & Talib Ali put up some sort of a partnership at the top. Talib Ali departed after scoring 17 off 10. Azeem Shamsi came in & scored with the same intent as he scored 19 runs off 15 deliveries. Tariq Murad looked solid before he was dismissed after scoring 34 runs off 22 deliveries. Sheraz Ali came in & he scored 22 runs off 20 deliveries. Adeel Shahid chipped in with his 15 off 14. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen came in & got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Zahid Rao managed to score 18 off 15 where as Imran Shaikh scored 19 off 13. The bowlers then managed to pickup a couple of quick wickets ending the innings on a high. Naimat Bilal Afridi lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Sayyam Khan Afridi who picked up a couple of wickets. Faysal Bank were bowled out for 165 runs in 19.5 overs.
Meezan Bank came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Farhan Shah & Azhar Hassan put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team an accelerating start. Farhan Shah picked apart the bowling lineup blasting away every bowler that was brought into the attack. Farhan Shah played a sublime knock of 58 runs off just 28 deliveries. Azhar Hassan on the other hand kept rotating the strike as he scored 22 runs off 26 deliveries. Naimat Bilal Afridi came in & he contributed with his 25 off 30. Kashif Altaf came in & played a cameo of 19 runs off 9 deliveries. Muhammad Shahruk came in & scored 26 runs off 13 deliveries taking his team over the line. Tariq Murad managed to pickup 3 wickets but it was too little too late.
