MTCC batted first against SC Warriors in a match that turned out to be a completely one sided affair. After losing opener Umair cheaply, Yasir Ashfaq took the lead with a brilliant 41. The team however continued to lose wickets in intervals, unable to build an innings. Wajahat Kazmi and Jahanzaib Khan also contributed cameos in their twenties as MTCC ended at 145 for 8 in 18 overs. Warriors bowler Adnan was relentless in his spell picking up 3 wickets. He was further supported by Salman who also took a couple.
In response, SC Warriors completely imploded in the chase. Outdone by an impressive display of bowling, the side were never able to recover. Opener Ali Raza top scored with 22 as the team were dismissed for a mere 87 in 16 overs. 7 of the batsmen were dismissed in single digits. MTCC bowlers were in form and on fire with Usama's 3 wickets and Baqar and Jahanzaib taking 2 wickets each.
MTCC won by 58 runs.
