Renegades came in to bat first & their openers, Mubashir Nawaz and Farhan Shah, provided a blistering start to their innings. Mubashir Nawaz was in exceptional form, smashing the opposition bowlers all around the park. He scored a magnificent century, scoring 107 runs off just 56 deliveries. On the other hand, Farhan Shah contributed 10 runs off 9 balls before departing. Ibrahim Sardar Dosani and Kashif Khan made useful contributions with scores of 13 off 11 balls and 25 off 20 balls, respectively. Abdul Rehman Halari added quick runs to the total, scoring 26 runs off just 16 balls. Abdul Majid Shah was the most successful bowler for Butt Brothers, picking up two wickets. Renegades managed to post a formidable total of 197 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Chasing a challenging target, Butt Brothers suffered an early setback as they lost three wickets quickly. However, Obais Ullah Khan and Abdullah Rafai steadied the innings with their composed batting. Obais Ullah Khan played a quickfire knock of 31 runs off 17 deliveries, while Abdullah Rafai scored 33 runs off 32 balls. Raza Tahir contributed 10 runs off 11 balls to the scorecard, but Butt Brothers struggled to maintain the required run rate throughout their innings.
