Muslim Gymkhana batted first against Kalsoft Knights at the Al Wakeel Cricket League Season 2. Openers Mirza Shoaib and Bilal Omer were in form and on fire, merciless against the bowling attack. Mirza smashed 83 runs off just 61 balls coupled by Bilal who was unstoppable in his innings of 57. Ahmed Hussain's 29 lower down the order further boosted Muslim Gymkhana to a massive total of 201 for 5 in 20 overs.
In response, Kalsoft Knights were weak in the chase. Opener Hamid Shahid came out strong with his knock of 34 but the team failed to put runs on the board. Muslim Gymkhana's bowlers gave nothing away, making it very hard for the chasing side to score. Only Naveed Nagda managed to score 32 as the team ended at 117 for 5 in 20 overs. Muslim Gymkhana kept the pressure on throughout the innings, taking wickets where needed.
