National Foods beat out Sindh Bank by two runs at the RLCA Gulberg last week.
National Foods took to bat first and made a substantial total of 184 in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. Waqar Ahmed Khan made 25 from 25, Amir Akram made 31 from 15, Ali Nasir made 30 from 25 and Arif Shah made 49 from 20, not out. Mohsin Korai took three wickets while Umer Masood Bhutto, Mehrooz Hussain and Jalib Shaikh took one each.
Sindh Bank performed very well and came close to successfully chasing the target. Mohsin Korai made 30 from 34, Kashif Raza made 65 from 32 and Zahid Nausherwani made 34 from 21. Ali Nasir took three wickets while Umair Ali, Arif Shah and Waqar Ahmed Kha took one each.
